An elementary school Chorus in southern New Jersey sang "The Spirit of America" at their outdoor Concert for Memorial Day, May 2009. Hank Fellows believes that teaching 9-11 songs is a vital part of 9/11 education, and one of the best ways to teach children and students about 9/11/01.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg of NYC delivered his "State of the City" address at Brooklyn College in Jan. 2009. A 60-member elementary school Chorus performed "The Tree of Life" prior to the Mayor's address.
"One Heart, One Voice" was performed at a Veterans Day Concert at a elementary school in northern Colorado, Nov. 2008.
Hank Fellows speaking to the students at the Middle School in southern California that he visited in May 2009, to hear his songs sung at their Patriotic Concert. Hank emphasized that every student has creative abilities, and has the potential to write songs, poems, and stories based upon their own unique experiences. Hank also performed his songs "The Spirit of America" and "God Protect the Children" for the students.
The graduating class at a NYC elementary school performing "The Tree of Life", June 2009. Two years earlier, Hank Fellows had delivered the graduation keynote address at this school, his alma mater. At that time, his song "God Protect the Children" had been performed by the graduating class.
The Sanctuary Choir at a church in central New Jersey performed "6,000,000" in Feb. 2008.
